Fantasy World Globes: How We Build a 3D Globe From Any Map

Every globe ever made has mapped the same thing: Earth. We decided to change that.

After eight years of developing our process — solving the geometry of wrapping any 2D image onto a true 3D sphere — we hadn't just reinvented how globes are made. We'd unlocked something nobody else can do. We can take any world, real or imagined, and turn it into a handmade globe.

fantasy globe

Middle Earth. Westeros. Dungeons and Dragons. A map from your favorite novel. A world you drew yourself. Each one hand-pressed in our California studio into a dimensional, artisan-made object — not a novelty, but something real enough to sit on a shelf and make a fictional world feel suddenly, thrillingly tangible.

For readers, gamers, storytellers, and dreamers: your world deserves to exist in three dimensions. And when you support a small business like ours to make it happen, you're helping make dreams come true — ours, and a little bit of your own.

This is such a beautiful concept! Turning our imaginary worlds into something that can actually be held and displayed feels so personal. I love how you frame it not as a novelty, but as something meaningful and tangible. It really speaks to readers and gamers who have deep emotional connections to these worlds! I know my daughter who is an artist would love to share her worlds like this!
