Artist Statement

I’m inspired by vintage globes and maps. They are my canvases. Though time and wear may age them, they retain their unique sense of wonder and nostalgia. Before I even touch them and turn them into works of art, they make statements of their own.

I create and layer artwork on top of the vintage canvas in a seamless and natural way.  My primary focus is beauty and wonder, but the geographic backdrop also stirs meaningful reflection of our greater journey.

I love working with people to craft their personal experiences into keepsakes.  Whether marking a milestone with a one-of a-kind gift, or telling a story on a spinning world, the goal is to make lasting connections to dreams, adventures, and memories.

At the core of my work are recycled materials, environmentally friendly finishes—with everything sourced in the USA. To me, this is essential, because the world is our canvas.
