The Only Woman Globemaker in the World

What happens when you refuse to accept "it can't be done"?

Eight years ago, we started down a path that most people told us was impossible. Handmade globes — crafted completely from scratch, one at a time, using eco-friendly materials. No shortcuts. No mass production. Just hands, patience, and a stubborn belief that the world deserved something more beautiful than what was already out there.

And honestly? We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into.

Globe making is one of those ancient crafts that nearly disappeared. There's no instruction manual, no YouTube tutorial that covers the hard parts, no community of makers you can call when things go sideways. We figured it out piece by piece — the paper, the glue, the gores, the finishing — failing more times than we can count, and starting over every time.

But here we are. The globes are real. They exist. And we're the only all-woman team in the world doing this.

We still don't quite know how to hold that.

What we do know is that every globe that leaves our studio carries all of those years in it — the experiments that didn't work, the late nights, the moment things finally clicked. Each one is made by hand, start to finish, by a team of women who refused to let this craft disappear.

If you've ever held something handmade and felt the difference — you'll understand why we couldn't stop.
