Artist Statement

I’ve always been inspired by vintage globes and maps, so I made them my canvas. As tools of geography, history, and navigation, each makes a statement of its own. But once reimagined and transformed as works of art, the world opens to infinite possibility.

I create and layer artwork to work seamlessly with the continents and oceans in a natural way. My primary focus is beauty and wonder, but the geographic backdrop also stirs meaningful reflection of our greater journey. And sometimes it’s fun to just “erase the world” and imagine what can become of an empty, rotating sphere.

I love working with people to craft their personal experiences into keepsakes. Whether marking a milestone with a one-of a-kind gift, or telling a story on a spinning world, the goal is to make lasting connections to dreams, adventures, and memories.

At the core of my work are recycled materials, environmentally friendly finishes—with everything sourced in the USA. To me, this is essential, because the world is not just my canvas, it’s your too.
