Celebrate National Park Week 2022 with Wendy Gold Studios™

National Park Week is a time to celebrate and explore our beautiful national parks. To celebrate, the National Park Service in partnership with the National Parks Foundation will host a variety of special programs, events and online experiences. Here are some of our recommendations on what to do during National Park Week, which runs from 4/16 - 4/24/22:

Visit a National Park on 4/16/22 for Free!

Entrance fees are waived by the NPS on April 16 to kick off National Park Week to encourage everyone to get out and visit their favorite parks.

Have Your Kids or Grand Kids Participate in National Junior Ranger Day

National Junior Ranger Day is happening on 4/23 and kids ages 5 - 13 are invited to earn Junior Ranger Badges while learning about our National Parks. Interested youth complete a series of activities during a park visit, share their answers with a park ranger, and receive an official Junior Ranger patch and Junior Ranger certificate. There is also a virtual version of this program as well. To learn more visit https://www.nps.gov/subjects/npscelebrates/national-junior-ranger-day.htm
