Each globe is designed by artist and globe maker Wendy Gold, and sustainably made by hand in her USA-based studio by artisan globe makers and professional woodworkers, using eco-friendly materials and finishes.

Special to The Porcelain World, the handcrafted wooden base features a coordinating engraved botanical design created exclusively for this globe—making the entire piece, from globe to base, part of the artwork. • MAPPING OUR GLOBES – An eight-year journey led to the world’s only process for turning flat antique maps into handcrafted globes. While landforms remain true, no globe can ever be a perfect representation of the Earth. Expect slight imperfections—beautiful evidence of its handmade origin in today’s mass-produced world.
